“I want to be a pilot, but am I too old to learn to fly?”

That’s a question one of our founders, Kent McRee, often struggled with on his pilot journey. Kent’s passion for flight started after a couple commercial flight mishaps and a pandemic spent watching his favorite Youtuber Niko’s Wings.

“I always wanted to fly, since I was a little girl.”

Like many “Aviation Geeks,” our Director of Business Development, Meridith Killian’s Pilot Journey started as a kid. She dreamt of being a pilot in the Air Force, but figured it was a pipe dream and pursued other careers. That is, until her husband bought her an Aerobatic Thrill ride for her 35th Birthday and she took a flight in the Pitts biplane. She was hooked.

“Aviation has been my world since birth.”

You could say flight comes as naturally as breathing to Pamelita Ware, our Co-Founder & Director of Instruction. As it should since she’s from a family of Air Traffic Controllers, both military and civilian.
